This unusual piece is a butter worker, used to press the remaining water out of churned butter, almost the last step before it is ready to eat. The table top is slightly tilted so that it drains well and the roller goes from side to side as a simple, but efficient motion. Check out this webpage for more information about butter workers!

This would make a neat coffee table with a little ingenuity or just a great display piece. Stenciled with "The T. Eaton Co. Limited, Winnipeg Man" along the side.

Measures 36" x 34" x 29" approximately.

Legs fold pretty flat so this shouldn't be too bad to ship.
