Beautiful example of two hundred years old ironstone plate made by Mason's somewhere between 1813 and 1825. Dated by the impressed one line mark that reads "Mason's Patent Ironstone China" all in caps. No stamp. No chips or cracks but there are the usual smudges and marks that are often seen on porcelain from this time era. Hand painted in orangey-red and dark blue, with gold details.
Measures 8 1/2" in diameter and weighs about 0.8 of a pound.
